Counseling
Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying “I will try again tomorrow.” -Mary Anne Radmacher
Individual Therapy
We all need a place where we can fall apart so that we can put ourselves back together. You deserve a space where you can show up as your true self, in all of your beautiful brokenness and feel seen and heard. When your thoughts and emotions start getting in the way of everyday life, professional support can help you to build the skills that you need to manage challenges while learning how to digest feelings in a healthy and meaningful way.
I utilize my background in Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamics to cultivate a holistic view of self and see your patterns as guideposts for change. We’ll practice listening to and incorporating all the parts of you so that you can learn to let emotions in without letting them to run the show. You’ll practice making choices and being intentional about how you show up in the world so that you can weather each storm with confidence and self-compassion.

Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.
-Fred Rogers
Play Therapy
Children communicate differently than adults. They tell us how they’re feeling through their behaviors, their physical symptoms, their energy level and where they put their attention. Children learn and process through play. With a trained professional, play can truly be serious business. It can be the fastest road to healing.
But children do not exist in a vacuum. They are a piece of their family system, often the canary in the coal mine. We will not be a good fit if you’re seeking therapy to “fix” your child and their behaviors. We will not be a good fit, if you’re not ready to look at yourself as well. Children hear what we say, but they do as we do. If you’re seeking lasting change, you’ll find support for each part of the family system.
Through individual therapy sessions, your child will learn to identify and tolerate difficult emotions. They’ll learn to self-soothe and problem-solve when help is needed. Through regular parent sessions, you’ll learn to teach by example. You’ll learn to connect with your child through deep vulnerability and heal the broken parts of yourself as well.
